2018 has been a great year for us with several achievements that we have been very excited and proud to share with everyone.
Mando have worked with some brilliant new clients over the past 12 months and March saw the launch of McDonald’s Monopoly Wiiiin campaign and for the first time ever McDonald’s utilised Mando’s prepaid card as the method of awarding customers their cash prizes.
The Mando-Connect Whitepaper “What the British think of loyalty” in connection with YouGov was published in June, and we are proud to have been featured in Marketing Week, The Drum among other major publications. This was a very exciting piece of work which reviewed well in the media and has been incredibly useful in providing us with invaluable data and insight that we have been able to pass on to our clients.
The middle of the year and three new members joined the team, two at Mando and one at Mando-Connect. Lauren Miles joined the Marketing and Account Management department in June and in July Lauren Ward joined in the New Business department with Emma Dallaway joining Mando-Connect as Account Director of Partnerships.
June proved to be a busy month for Mando-Connect winning their first award at the Loyalty Magazine awards. Winning gold in their very first year in “Best Use of Gamification to Enhance Loyalty” in the Loyalty Magazine Awards with the incredible Virgin Red team.
After the busy summer months Mando were delighted to win Gold in Risk Management for the third year running at the IPM Cogs Awards as well as picking up a Silver in the Multi-Territory category along the way.
Our award winning ways continued with Charlie Hills (MD of Mando-Connect) and Becky Munday (CEO of Mando) shortlisted for the Women In Marketing awards. Becky Munday scooped the coveted “Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Marketing”. Universal Card was also shortlisted for Best Prepaid Card Solution at the Payments Awards, which recognise card and payments excellence and innovation.
